Are You Nervous About Your First Massage

Massage in Frankfurt, GermanyAre You Nervous About Your First Massage?

If you are nervous about your first massage, I assure you, it’s a normal reaction to the unknown! That’s why I take the time to walk you through the whole process, making sure that before we start the treatment, you feel empowered and comfortable.

What To Expect?

First, when you arrive, I will ask you to fill out a health intake form and take you to the treatment room.

Each session starts with a 30-minute private consultation.

We are going to talk about your condition, explore your needs and expectations, and set up your short and long term goals. After that, I will explain what to expect during the session and suggest your treatment plan. I will also explain the possible outcomes.

This is also a good time for you to ask questions. Don’t be shy, the more you know before your massage, the more relaxed you feel!

Do I Have To Undress?

Traditionally, clients fully undress to receive a massage. If that makes you feel uncomfortable, there is no need to worry! You can keep as many pieces of your garments as you wish. It is your choice! However, please make sure you remove all your jewelry and your shoes.

During your massage, I will drape you with the sheets and uncover only the areas of your body that I’m going to massage. If there are any areas you don’t want me to touch, please let me know.

At the end of your massage, I will exit the room to allow you some privacy. You can stay on the table for a few minutes and enjoy the first results of your treatment.

Yes its great when you have a massage therapist that can put you at ease on your first massage! Very important! If I don’t have a good vibe with someone I don’t let them massage me. I always go the extra mile to make my clients feel safe so they can let their guard down and relax 🙂

Great advice Marzena! I must say, a 30-minute consultation is most admirable, as a massage therapist myself I used to work places where the spa wouldn’t even do an intake form. I do much prefer them, the intake forms are just as important to us as it is the client.
