Your TMJ Assessment

A first appointment should leave you feeling informed—not rushed.

I’ve set aside enough time to understand your concerns, begin evaluating what’s contributing to your symptoms, provide treatment during the same visit, and answer your questions.

Whether you’re visiting for TMJ Manual Therapy, Tension & Pain Relief Therapy, Voice Vitality Therapy, or Prenatal Massage, your care begins with understanding what brought you to the clinic and what you hope to achieve.

Before You Arrive

After booking online, you'll receive a confidential health history form to complete before your visit. The information you provide helps me understand your symptoms, medical history, previous treatment, and any factors that may influence your care. Completing the form in advance allows us to spend more of your appointment focused on you rather than paperwork. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily if movement assessment is needed.

What Happens During Your Appointment?

Your first visit includes both an evaluation and treatment.

We’ll begin by talking about:

Your Treatment

Treatment begins during your first appointment. The techniques I use are guided by what I find during the evaluation rather than following the same routine for everyone. Depending on your needs, treatment may include manual therapy, myofascial techniques, stretching, movement-based approaches, or, for TMJ clients, intraoral manual therapy when clinically appropriate and with your consent. Throughout the session, I encourage you to tell me how you're feeling. If anything feels too intense or uncomfortable, we'll adjust immediately. Treatment should always work with your body—not against it.

Ready to Schedule?

Whether you’re seeking help for jaw pain, muscle tension, headaches, or another concern, your first appointment is an opportunity to better understand what’s contributing to your symptoms and begin treatment during the same visit.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you take the next step toward moving more comfortably.
